The biggest benefit there is the simple fact that its completely new – you’re confident you know for certain that nobody operated your car prior to you, it is 100 percent operating and ready to go and all the parts are genuine. As opposed to when buying pre-owned car, you will never know what prior owner tried to fix it up and if necessary upkeep was completed repeatedly and thoroughly.

Furthermore the new vehicle couldn’t have been in a collision hence it can’t have undetectable damages which you can typically uncover on a pre-owned vehicle. Needless to say the new car also has a warranty. Sometimes it is given either for a specific period of time or possibly a specific mileage. One example is you might have a manufacturer’s warranty that handles 3 years of operation or 50k mileage. That means should you reach this miles limit sooner than years restriction, then this manufacturer’s warranty will finish. It is often recommended to buy your car from a licensed dealership – take a look below for places near Indianapolis as suggested by yelp.com members:

Lockhart Automotive Group

5550 N Keystone Ave
Indianapolis, IN 46220
Neighborhood: SoBro
(317) 253-1551

Tracy H: Fabulous dealership! Not only were they patient in dealing with an anxious 3 year old, but they were excited to have us there. They really care about their customers and take the time to make you feel welcome. You are also not left astray in their service department – they make sure you are comfortable, hydrated and fed.

Ray Skillman Auto Center

8424 US Hwy 31 S
Indianapolis, IN 46227
(317) 885-2700

Carey D: I bought my Hyundai at the Ray Skillman location on the West side, but have taken it to this dealership several times for service. I’ve always been happy with the results, and the pricing is very competitive compared to what I’ve found at other Hyundai dealerships around town (ahem, Butler and Palmer). The service desk employees have always made an annoying task much easier and have been great with helping to get me in a rental car from the next-door Enterprise Rental.

If you have a Hyundai and are looking for a place to get it serviced in Indy, I recommend checking out this location. You might also want to call all the Hyundai dealerships in town and get a price quote. I did that before committing to a 60,000 mile standard service, and found that Skillman offered the best price and did so in the most haggle-free, non-salesy manner.

Butler Kia

5500 N Keystone Ave
Indianapolis, IN 46220
Neighborhood: SoBro
(888) 419-4536

Macieje K.: Seems like people are avoiding saying anything about this business so I decided to put my opinion up. I bought used Kia Spectra from this dealer and it was a smoker, even though salesman gave his word it was not. They must have used some product to kill the smell for a moment but it lasted only a week. It took good one year for the smell to go away. It just shows they will lie in your face just to make the sale.

Honda West

4701 W 38th St
Indianapolis, IN 46222
Neighborhood: Lafayette Square
(317) 299-3551

Kayla M.: I came to Honda West after feeling very pressured by the person I was working with at Terry Lee Honda in Avon. Honda West was a refreshing experience compared to that other dealership. All of the employees were friendly, personable, up front, and extremely helpful throughout the car buying process.

I’m a new graduate, and this was my first time by a car. This could have been a nerve racking experience, but I never once felt uncomfortable buying from Honda West. They took their time with me and made sure I understood everything. I don’t think I could ever buy a Honda from a different dealership. These guys are awesome.
